On September 19, 20 delegates from Habonim Dror, a youth movement from Israel, came to visit our school. The purpose of their visit was to learn about the activities of our students related to
Israel and to Jewish culture. They were welcomed by our students and after showing them our school, they had a short meeting with Tova in which they heard about the work Tova is doing behind the curtains, in order to enable the students to have so many interesting activities.
The next stop was at the gym where they met 20 students from 9th, 10th and 11th grades. The head of the Habonim Dror delegation explained us about their work. Then, we divided the groups into four, sitting in circles, each one of them having five guests, five students and one Hebrew teacher. Our students talked enthusiastically about their visits in Israel, about March of the Living and about all the activities they took part inside and outside the school. Our guests asked the students many questions about the life in school and it was very exciting to see the connections the delegates created with our students in such a short time.
At the end of this meeting our guests were pleased they had the oportunity to meet our students and to hear about their interesting program. They wished they could have stayed longer and promised to come back.
