SPECIAL PASSOVER MESSAGE FROM THE RAPHAEL RECANATI INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL
Dear Students, Parents, Supporters and Friends,
This year our Passover celebration will have very special significance for all of us. When we sing "Why is this night different from all other nights", for many of us, it will be the first time we had to celebrate Passover, our Festival of Freedom, under the constraints of an eleventh plague, coronavirus. However in this challenging time, we should be ever mindful that we are living in the best possible time in the history of our people with a strong, Jewish and Democratic State. We embrace you, in so many communities around the world who are suffering so greatly at this time. We are thinking about you and your families and our students 24 hours a day.
Let us all raise the four glasses of wine to our health, happiness, and continued humanistic Zionist values of "next year in Jerusalem and at המרכז הבינתחומי הרצליה - IDC Herzliya. Let us remember the motto of "Freedom and Responsibility" coined by our Founder and President, Professor Uriel Reichman.
On Sunday the Raphael Recanati International School dedicated team held an online information session with over 130 individuals -with applicants from the four corners of the globe. Dozens of applicants registered to study for our undergraduate and graduate programs, and we are seeing a significant increase in applications, acceptances and confirmations compared to last year. This is heartwarming and morale boosting.

We have encountered greater challenges in the past and we have overcome them. Our resilience, resourcefulness, creativity, entrepreneurship, and Zionist values will help us overcome the #coronavirus hurdle, and we shall continue to thrive and flourish, as we have in the past.
Wishing all of you a fabulous Passover. Please enjoy our Pesach greeting below, with a photo of 800 international students from the Raphael Recanati International School, in the Negev Desert, outside the memorial monument for David Ben Gurion, one of the founding fathers of the State of Israel.
